About a Boy: A Photographic Journey

One of the most unique things about life as a photographer is how you become involved in the lives of your clients. I am a witness to the rhythms of their lives - the ebbs, the flows, and those pauses when life's waters are momentarily calm. I have photographed this child since he was born and it's a joy to see him now, reveling in his boyhood. I can't wait to see what good things the future will bring to him, but I'll make sure to have my camera at the ready:)

There's always something interesting to see on the streets of New York City, but my favorite views happen well above the city streets. The play between the skyscrapers and the sky create dramatic shadows or moments of quiet beauty.

When actor Frank Britton was brutally attacked and robbed Memorial Day, the #DCtheatre community came together in a wave of financial and emotional support. Frank continues to prove, through his miraculous recovery, that love will always win.

Say "Cheese!"

Photographs of large groups are usually a study in proportion and precision, but that's only in the finished product. I've found that the time between the takes is the most fun. My favorite moment in this photograph has to be the little girl standing arm-raised on the left side of the image - she's a superstar in the making!
